Singer/songwriter Ingrid Griffin is the result if 1970s Laurel Canyon troubadours met Taylor Swift in her country-pop era. Proudly from Lincoln Nebraska, Ingrid will graduate Summa Cum Laude from USC in Los Angeles in May with a degree in music and songwriting.
She performs with her dad, who doubles as her drummer. The father-daughter duo has performed at fairs, festivals, and concert series, and they’ll tour the midwest this summer .
Ingrid hopes listeners can relate to her songs, which are based on her own experiences—such as feeling out-of-place at college parties and pining for a past love.
She recently released her debut album, “It’s All Just Songwriting Material,” as part of her USC senior capstone.
